A Level Examination Results 2010
High Achievers and Individual SuccessesCreamy Lam achieved 6 A Levels with an A* in Maths, 3 A grades in Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry and B grades in French and Global Persepctives. Creamy also achieved Grade 8 in both Violin and Flute during her final examination term and will now be taking a gap year in industry before pursuing a degree in Engineering. Lisa Nowak, who will be going on to read Philosophy and Theology in Leeds, achieved 5 A Levels including 3 A* grades in Religious Studies, English Literature and Global Perspectives, plus A grades in both History and Biology. Special credit should also go to Helena Cartwright, Katy Dean, Camilla Perfect and Chloe Tucker who all achieved 3 or more A grades. Current Head Girl Caroline Rankin, and Deputy Head Girls Phoebe Kowalska and Vicky Spedding also aced this summer's exams by all achieving one or more A* grades whilst being fully committed to their demanding roles in school. Cambridge Pre-UIn addition to the A Level qualifications, several girls took on a further challenge with the new Cambridge Pre-U qualification as an alternative to A Level. The school is delighted to report that all girls achieved highly in this linear course, with special congratulations going to Katie Morum who achieved the highest possible grade (D1), which is even higher than the A* A Level grade. |
